TORONTO, April 8, 2013 /CNW/ – Red Tiger Mining Inc., (TSXV-RMN), (the “Company“) announces that it has resumed operations at its Luz del Cobre mine in State of Sonora, Mexico. Luz del Cobre had been under an illegal blockade commenced by the Ejido (land owners) of San Antonio de la Huerta.


Friday April 5h, state authorities restored access to all areas of the mine site without major confrontations. The Company and its Mexican subsidiary, Minerales Libertad, S.A. de C.V., wish to express its appreciation to the Government of the State of Sonora for its prudent actions and support.


Mining, crushing and stacking operations have all resumed. The Company expects copper cathode stripping to recommence within five days.
