(“Primero” or the “Company”) (TSX:P)(NYSE:PPP) today advised that the date for the second court hearing for approval of the Cerro Resources’ NL (“Cerro”) (ASX:CJO)(TSX VENTURE:CJO) Scheme of Arrangement (“proposed transaction”) has been rescheduled from May 3, 2013 to May 8, 2013 due to court availability.

The Cerro shareholder meetings scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, 2013 (Australian) to approve the proposed transaction remain unchanged. The proposed transaction is now expected to close on Thursday, May 23, 2013.
