Halifax, NS, April 18, 2016 – GoGold Resources Inc. (TSX: GGD) (“GoGold”, “the Company”) regrets to announce the death of a third party contractor’s employee late Friday due to an accident at the Parral Tailings project in Chihuahua State, Mexico.

Brad Langille, CEO of GoGold stated, "We are deeply saddened by this accident and extend our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased. The health and safety of all personnel on site is our highest priority."

The Company and local authorities completed an investigation which determined that all appropriate safety procedures were in place. Operations continue as normal and the company continues to work to ensure the safety and welfare of all personnel on site.
