VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA—Catalyst Copper Corp. (“Catalyst” or the “Company”) (TSXVENTURE:CCY) announces a non-brokered private placement of up to 20,000,000 units at a price of $0.07 per unit for gross proceeds of up to $1,400,000.

Each unit will consist of one common share and one full common share purchase warrant. Each whole common share purchase warrant will be exercisable at $0.10 per common share for a period of 5 years from closing.

Proceeds will be used for payment of costs of the study by JDS Energy and Mining Inc., existing payables and for general working capital.
