Vancouver, B.C. – American Consolidated Minerals Corp. (“American Consolidated” or the “Company”) reports that at its Annual General Meeting (the “Meeting”) held on December 13, 2013, shareholders elected Messrs. Robert Eadie, Gary Arca, Allan Fabbro, Ken Sumanik, David Gunning, Richard Kern, Herb Duerr and Robert Sibthorpe as directors for the ensuing year.
Following the Meeting, Gary Arca was appointed Interim President & CEO of the Company in addition to his current responsibilities as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. A search for a new President & CEO is underway. Messrs. Kern, Sumanik and Gunning were appointed members of the Audit Committee to serve until the next shareholders’ meeting.
Subsequent to the board meeting, Robert Sibthorpe tendered his resignation as a director of the Company.
