In this segment of our recent interview with Bradley Langille, President & CEO of gold and silver company, GoGold Resources (TSX:GGD), we discuss the impact of COVID-19 on the company's gold mining operations. The line from GoGold is that it is business as usual, but for a few small operational tweaks to worker sanitisation as it follows WHO protocols. Langille believes the current market conditions are caused by investors selling anything not nailed down. Langille thinks quantitative should be good for gold and other precious metals companies. Operational figures have remained impressive, and other than a delay in delivering GoGold's 43-101 (now due in May), things appear to be running smoothly.

Interview with President & CEO Taj Singh. Discovery Metals owns and drills the Cordero silver project in Mexico. Right now the company is pausing the 35.000m drill program due to COVID-19, but the first 17.500m were drilled very successful with high grades and long intercepts. The proven team at Discovery Metals Corp. is led by a top-tier group with a record of success in finance, discovery, project development, operations and M&A. Discovery is focused on district-scale silver and silver-zinc-lead projects in northern Mexico. At its 100%-owned Cordero project in Chihuahua State, Discovery is exploring one of the world’s largest silver resources and one of the world’s largest silver-zinc-lead metal endowments. The 37,000 hectare property covers an entire porphyry district that hosts a published resource (based on over 300 drill holes and over 130,000 m of drilling) and numerous exploration targets for bulk tonnage diatreme-hosted, porphyry-style, and carbonate replacement deposits (CRD). Additionally, Discovery has assembled a land package of 150,000 hectares over a large and historic mining district in Coahuila State. The portfolio of three large-scale, drill-ready projects and a multitude of earlier stage prospects, all with shallow high grade silver-zinc-lead mineralization is sited in a world class CRD belt that stretches from southeast Arizona to central Mexico. The land holdings contain hundreds of historical workings with several kilometers of underground development, but no modern exploration or exploration drill testing has ever been carried out on the properties prior to Discovery's time on the projects.
