Gammon Gold Inc. (GAM.TO: News ) announced the completion of Capital Gold Corp. (CGC.TO: News ) acquisition. Capital Gold will operate as a subsidiary of Gammon Gold.
Gammon said that more than 82% of Capital Gold’s shareholders voted, of which 32,353,144 shares voted in favour of the transaction.
In addition, the company noted that the acquisition of Capital Gold significantly increases Gammon’s gold production and almost doubles its gold reserves.
