Lachatao

The project covers 5,126 hectares, located in the north-central portion of the state of Oaxaca, in the vicinity of the town of Lachatao, 45 km north-east from the city of Oaxaca.

Lachatao is an epithermal gold and silver target in Tertiary volcanic rocks underlain by the black shales which host the nearby Natividad gold-silver mine.

One concept that the company would like to test is the transition of the epithermal mineralization from the Tertiary volcanic rocks to the black shales which appear to be the most productive host rocks.
